All of us know 3g is "3rd generation mobile telecommunications" . All internet freaks were excited about it.
Now 3g is here,,are we satisfied ? Let's talk about it today.
So friends, according to the standard 3g should give upload and download speeds from 5-8 mbps(approx) .
I don't think anyone of us ever experienced that much speed in real life. In advertisements they show that we can access fastest speeds in jungles too.Reality is that this service is only available in big cities and people belonging to rural areas and unable to access it even after by paying required amounts.
Almost all companies are providing 3g sims by charging extra amount saying its 3g. We people,who love technology,who love speed never hesitate but still get nothing.Its not about only criticizing the system and people responsible. Its all about learning from the leaders. Who are the leaders?
Leaders in technology are china,japan,usa and so on. Indian government has every resource available,excellent technical person and everything but they are not utilizing the resources.Internet is basic requirement today. Kids,students are getting aware of it . Latest mobile technologies shouldn't be limited to
cities only. We should get what we are paying for.
Available options for fast internet access are:
Wired Broadband
Wireless broadband
Both of these options are best in cities.
Here's true story about wired broadband in small towns, villages.They will charge you monthly ,they dont bother if the telephone lines were dead for 25 days a months and the thing is u can't do anything . At least not for that month.Then people will write complaint about it submit it,till then next month starts,still you are being charged because you were ambitious...lol
Talking about wireless broadband or 3g i must say that yeah you will se google ,facebook everything but its totaly on luck how much "minutes" it takes to open.
So, what i concluded from my experience from past 4 years is that we never got what we expected from
technology revolutions of internet. Its almost same. We must hope that our country provide same options for each and every citizen who is paying same amount.
And yes its better we don't talk about 4g now..... :)
